World Health Organization
In 1996, the WHO Health Organization designated Pharmakon, Danish College of Pharmacy Practice, as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Policy and Pharmacy Practice Development - two topics that are key elements to Pharmakon.
The designation is renewed every 4th year, latest in 2008, and calls for assistance and advice within the following areas of interest to the WHO:

Development and implementation of good professional practice within the pharmaceutical sector

Human resource development and organisation of educational activities

Promotion and support to stimulate professional contacts and networks.
International courses
In collaboration with the WHO, we have developed several education modules directed towards national health authorities and the pharmaceutical industry. The course materials are in English and Russian.

Training inspections of local pharmaceutical companies in Russia and Belarus

Certification of pharmaceutical inspectors, who have successfully passed theoretical training, practical training as an observer, and, finally, independently conducted an inspection and follow-up
